Fifth International Conference on “Numerical Methods for Scientific Computations and Advanced Applications” (NMSCAA'26)

The fifth edition of the biannual International Conference on “Numerical Methods for Scientific Computations and Advanced Applications” (NMSCAA'26) will take place from June 15th to June 18 2026 in Sozopol, Bulgaria.

The purpose of the International Conference on “Numerical Methods for Scientific Computations and Advanced Applications” is to bring together scientists in the field of numerical methods for scientific computations working with models in natural sciences and biomedical, environmental and industrial applications, as well as developers of algorithms for modern high-performance computers.

NMSCAA'26 is organized by the Institute of Information and Communication Technologies - Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (IICT-BAS), and MIV Consult Ltd. in cooperation with the Bulgarian Section of SIAM (BG SIAM).

Specific topics of interest include but not limited to:

• Modeling, simulation and optimization
• Multiscale and multiphysics problems
• Robust iterative methods and sparse matrix computation
• Fractional differential equations and non-local problems
• Parallel numerical methods and scalable algorithms
• Advanced applications in science and engineering

Extended Abstracts/Short Communications

The extended abstracts/short communications (up to 4 pages) are to be written in standard LaTeX and sent to: nmscaa@parallel.bas.bg. The proceedings will be available online before starting the conference.

Full-Length Proceedings Papers

Proceedings of selected peer-reviewed and presented papers will be published as an addition to the BGSIAM'25 Proceedings special volume of SpringerNature Series, Studies in Computational Intelligence.

It is highly recommended that the source files for the papers be prepared using Springer Nature's LaTeX template for contributed works.
